Cowork Rochester

Coming Soon!

Posted in coworking, facilities by Erik on February 1, 2011

We’re very excited to announce that we’re in the final stages of arranging for a coworking location in downtown Rochester! After a year of talking to anyone who would listen about the idea; a landlord who has the foresight and vision to take a chance on the idea has been found! We checked out the space late last week. With a little TLC it will make a great home for coworking. It’s all moving very quickly and we expect to open later this month!

Please contact me at @giberti or @coworkrochester for more details. Thank you all for your continued patience. See you soon!

Okay, this is great news. Every major city I’ve lived in (or been to) has had something like this–where developers, designers, engineers, and whoever else can work and bounce ideas off each other. I’ve been hoping to see (and participate in) something like it in Rochester. Are you able to disclose where the space will be? There are so many cool, old buildings around here that are ripe for this type of conversion that I’m excited to see where it’ll be.

Drupal dev here, currently working from home and excited to have found that this is so close to being set up. Is there any info yet about pricing or other details? I’m strongly considering trying out co-working.
